Child of God, Princess of a King, Heavy Crown!
We are all children of God, which makes us royalty. As daughters of our King, we are called to
discipleship; our royalty is service; and, the crown is heavy at times. Through prayer, storytelling,
scripture, and song, we will explore the blessings that come with the struggle of wearing the crown.
Lorraine Hess is a singer, composer, retreat facilitator, and recording artist with World Library
Publications. She has served in music ministry for thirty years, and is Director of Music Ministry at
Divine Mercy Parish in Kenner, LA. She has released several CDs of original liturgical and inspirational
music, and her latest project, "Glorify Him," will be released by WLP in December 2017. In May 2018,
she will complete her Masters in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University Institute of Ministry. She has
been married to her husband Rob since 1990, and they are proud parents of four sons, their greatest
