Day of Reflection
Actual Cost: $35.00
Minimum Offering: $35.00
Intercession is greatly needed in our world today and, as baptised Christians, we are called to pray for others. Our intercession is most powerful when we allow the Holy Spirit to show us how to pray, because only he knows what graces are needed for a person or situation. This Day of Prayer will help you learn how to pray for others more effectively by growing in the gifts that will empower your intercession.

Noël Delery is a trained spiritual director and retreat director who is currently on the Ministry Team at the Archdiocese of New Orleans Retreat Center. In January, 2018, she will complete a two-year Formation Program at Notre Dame Seminary and will be commissioned as a Lay Ecclesial Minister.

Fr palermo
Rev. Joe Palermo

Fri, Feb 16 2018 - Sun, Feb 18 2018

Preached Silent Retreat
Actual Cost: $350.00
Minimum Offering: $225.00
When Jesus asked the blind man what he could do for him, the man replied, “Lord, I want to see!” The Season of Lent is one of the most grace-filled times for improving our spiritual vision. In Lent, we confront sin, seek to refocus our lives spiritually and celebrate God’s mercy and love. This retreat will consider traditional Lenten themes of temptation, weakness, sin and suffering, but will focus on gaining a sharper focus in daily living.

Rev. Joe Palermo practiced law for twelve years before hearing God’s call to the priesthood. He was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of New Orleans in 1994, serving in several parishes and archdiocesan administrative positions. He regularly gives retreats, missions and days of prayer on fostering the spiritual life and is currently on staff at Notre Dame Seminary.

To register, please contact a Retreat Captain or you may call the Retreat/Hospitality Coordinator, Susan Halligan at (504) 267-9604 or 1-866-937-9170.

Rev. Joe Nassal, CPPS

Fri, Feb 23 2018 - Sun, Feb 25 2018

Preached Silent Retreat
Actual Cost: $350.00
Minimum Offering: $225.00
Conversion is a personal experience that leads us to community. The movement of transformation beckons us to believe and accept our identity as the beloved of God. For most of us, conversion is not one, brief, blinding moment that changes our life forever, but rather a slow, maturing process that takes place over time as we learn a new language of the soul. This retreat reflects on how the life of faith is a sojourn of the soul. During this retreat, this rest stop for the soul, we will explore stories of our faith and seek to see how they connect and reconnect us to the stories of our lives.
