Spiritual Poverty & Femininity
Relying much upon the wisdom of St. Therese of Lisieux, this day of reflection will explore what it truly means to be “poor in spirit,” on both a spiritual and practical level.
We will reflect on Jesus’ call to spiritual poverty and what it means to respond to that call in our current culture, particularly as women. St. Therese of Lisieux’s understanding of spiritual poverty will be at the foundation of this day of reflection and the many ways Jesus asks us to leave our possessions behind and follow Him.
